Here’s your opportunity to put forward a worthy nominee for the Rising Star award (up to 35 years of age) for the Devon Farm Business Awards 2024, kindly sponsored by Savills and Mole Valley Farmers. We are working with Devon YFC this year to find the brightest Rising Star in the county.
Within this category, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated young person with a positive attitude and progressive approach towards farming and the future. This nomination form is the sole application, so please give us as much detail as possible about the person and give concise reasons why they should be shortlisted.
Feel free to nominate yourself, any of your clients or family, a neighbouring farmer, friends or anyone who you feel is worthy of this award.
Just to give you some guidance, the judges will be considering the following points in assessing the entrants:
Ability • Business acumen • Animal welfare and environmental awareness • Innovation • Sustainability • Think local • Vision
Three nominees will be shortlisted as finalists. The judging panel is made up of representatives from our sponsors and Devon YFC. Finalists will be contacted in March.
